Would you like to live in England? Why, why not? Do you think your English is good enough to lead a loose conversation in this language?

Yeh, I'd like to visit England, just UK in general, but living there day to day? Hymm, nope. There are other places I'd choose if I had to. Also the climate/weather isn't encouraging.
Anyway, I think my english isn't perfect, especially my poor vocabulary, but it's good enaugh to have a loose conversation. I was talking in english with a few people during holidays and it wasn't problematic for me. Additionaly I've been talking in english on in-game chat.

Huh, ppl, life, not live in England. Eventually living. Plus I am pretty sure "loose" ain't any replacement for "casual".
Perhaps not England, like szostol said mostly for it's climat, but another English-speaking country - why not? I'd love to visit all those National Parks in the USA, like Yellowstone. As for the UK, I guess the major reason for me would be to go to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in London :-P I don't think it would be a big deal to communicate with natives, if only it didn't have something to do with one of those strange local 'dialects'.

You've made a mistake - 'eventually' also isn't the correct word in this sentence.

I think it shouldn't be place to point out every little mistake. I'm sure it doesn't help in developing discussions in english.

Why not? And I actually can't agree with you. Let's improve every english skills, making the same, continual mistakes won't ever be desirable.

Thanks, perhaps it isn't. Optionally?

Can't disagree, as I would probably keep using it wrong, if you didn't tell me.

I can't stand it when a word sounds similar in Polish and English, but the meaning is slightly or even complately different. I mean, how come? They must both come from some language, usually Latin, or one from other, so did someone like "translate" it wrong or what?

I would probably keep using it wrong if you hadn't told me...

See? For me it doesn't have sense. It's uncomfortable situation when everyone is only looking for the mistake another person has done. We were supposed to talk about living in England, not about mistakes.

I would probably have kept using it wrong if you hadn't told me :-P
3rd conditional.

Yeah, as szostol, I think it's not a place for correcting ourselves and as you see it's getting really annoying. I corrected szostol, szostol can correct me, somebody correct him and so on... Just come back to our subject, life in England.

Living in England could be really great experience and maybe a chance for me, but I would have a problem with leaving Poland and things connected with it - friends, family, my home, favorite places etc. My English is not bad, I can lead a conversation...I make mistakes, of course, but the most important thing is to understand and be understood, I think.

I'm not changing my mind. It should be mixed 2nd and 3rd conditional. 3rd conditiontal refers to the past situations only and making some mistakes in the future isn't past situation :)
